Midterm project

April 22, 2010

For my midterm project i deiced to do the Los Angeles department of water and power website. I go there to pay my bill every two months and never understand why they don’t redesign it.  I think so the colors are not good because look like old school and nothig remind me on a water or power. The navigation is not very good too the only sub nav which I like is the costumer service one. Anything else you need takes time to access.

I make a research on other city websites and the best one which i find and like id the City of Chicago website. There is a lot of information but everything is easy to find and look modern.

The second one which i like is the Miami one. The design its not that great have kind a craigslist look with a lot of text but its very simple to use.

The last one which i find and its very simple to use and pay your bill or get same information is the NYC.
